SMS terms and consent

What the program is

This page covers texts from ChipmoAI's own phone line, (858) 293-7184. Texting from this line isn't switched on yet; these terms will apply once it is. Then ChipmoAI's automated assistant, an AI, will send these texts, only to people who texted or called that line. There is no marketing and no review requests.

What messages you may get

• A reply when you text us first.
• One informational text if you call and we miss your call. It has no link.
• A private link for sending photos, only if you said yes to it during the call.

Every message will say it comes from ChipmoAI's automated assistant.

How consent is collected

You can start by texting us. Or, on a call, the assistant will ask whether it can text you a link to send photos, and we will log your yes with the time. If you don't say yes, you get no photo link. If we miss your call, you may get one text about that call, at most one per 24 hours. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything.

Once texting is switched on, the assistant will say these words on a call before it texts you a link:

Hello, you've reached ChipmoAI, an automated AI assistant. This call may be recorded and transcribed. I can help with your question, and if you'd like, I can text you a private link so you can send photos of your project. To do that I need your permission to text you at this number. ChipmoAI will only text you about this request, with no marketing. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase. Our SMS terms and privacy policy are at chipmoai.com slash legal. Do I have your permission to text you a link at this number? Please say yes or no.

Client businesses

ChipmoAI also plans to answer calls for small businesses. Texting for those businesses will have its own registration, its own terms and its own consent steps, and is not part of this program. It isn't switched on.

Frequency, costs and opting out

Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPT OUT all work, and so does saying 'don't text me' in plain words. We confirm once and then send nothing more.

Quiet hours

Apart from replies to STOP and HELP, texts are sent only from 9 AM to 8 PM in your local time. If we don't know your time zone, we wait.

Photo link

The photo link is private, works once, expires after 72 hours, and is on chipmoai.com.

Sharing

We don't share mobile numbers or text consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing; we share them only with service providers that carry our messages.

Records

We keep texting consent and opt-out records for at least 4 years.

Pilot sign-ups

The pilot request form on this website does not sign you up for texts. We contact pilot requests by email, and by phone if you give a number.
